    Lovely news Bookie,but as I used to work in BA's Lost luggage I'm quite interested in that news..what happened..did it miss the connection?

    Delta were a nightmare SRM. I used them for the Washington/Atlanta bit. They cancelled my flight on the way out, delayed the one the next day (gate staff on board swopping seats, sat on runway for 90 mins), were in total chaos on way back and said luggage was booked thorugh to LHR but obviously it wasn't.
    Virgin have been great.

    Great they have given her a cot :) What else does she need and I will see what I can do as lots of friends are getting rid of their baby equipment etc

    Thanks. not sure yet as it's early days. DD1 will have lots to 'loan' her so we will see.

    I don't think this case will come today now.

    What does it say on your bag tag receipts- IAD or LHR??(Or even WAS?)

    i have a poorly bottom cos i've had the squits for 2 days....... :(

    and i've just had a bowl of porridge and feel icky....

    Thanks. Trip was ok - I don't do jet lag. And luckily I didn't take all my knickers with me.

    It says IAD which is why I never really expected it to arrive this end. It was easier to just get on the plane and sort it when home!
