I think they are pleased. Yes, they are really and excited. It was unplanned obviously.
They are 1) unmarried, 2) living in a 1 room bedsit, and 3) SIL to be is stil unemployed! Minor problems!
They are considerably happier now I've not hit the roof. :rotfl:0 -
Hey Bookie..there is never a good time to be having a baby as something always crops up. People manage to get through, I know I certainly did, went a bit awol which is why I am here but hey!
The 1 bedroom bedsit will be fine until baby is 6 months ish so they have plenty of time to get sorted. Is she the one who was thinking of moving in with you?I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Not a 1 bedroom Sal - a 1 room about the size of my lounge with small shower room.
I have offered to have them all obviously but hopefully Jon will get a job soon and they can rent something bigger.
They good offshoot is that DD1's nursery is making redundancies but have told her that she will not be out as she is pregnant. They seem to think it would be illegal to lay her off.
I am quite excited for them but ......0 -
I am still waiting for my suitcase which has been located and should arrive late afternoon/early evening. I wonder.
I'm a bit peckish but haven't got to the shops. Cupboards and fridge a bit bare and not inspiring me!0 -
Yeah I can understand you might be a bit anxious for them..thats your job. Just think there are many children who are born into poverty in this country, so they certainly aren't bottom of the pile IYSWIM. I don't mean that badly but all a baby needs is love, to be clothed, fed and kept warm and dry. I think they will be able to do all those things and more. Im sure there are plenty of us who can pass things on to them too

Her nursery are closing the baby room hence the redundancies. They have given her a cot and highchair. May need a new mattress! Kids round there have various infestations at times.0
