Lowest price car hire or refund double the difference

Hi
I'm in the process of booking car hire for my family whilst in Portugal and have seen on https://www.europcar4easyjet.com
that they are offering the lowest priced car hire or double the difference refund. I have found a similar car with 121 at less than half the price they have quoted so would expect a significant refund as promised. Has anyone tried to do this? Are there any pitfalls at all?
The terms are as follows:

Please advise

    MOVING THREADS FOR BETTER RESPONSES

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. Do you mean 121carhire.com? They're an agent, aren't they?

In which case, you've failed at the first hurdle:
    1. Only online prices, direct from International Car Rental Companies owning or operating their own fleet of vehicles will be matched, i.e. car rental companies operating in more than one country.

I used the DTD guarantee a few weeks ago, when the price direct with Europcar was cheaper than the price with europcar4easyjet. It took a while to get the payout. Emails were ignored, people on the phone claimed to know nothing of the guarantee. But they did payout in the end, and I got a day's rental for £3!

If you can find a car that fits the T&Cs, then there is (theoretically) no risk. You book the more expensive car at E4E, then submit the claim straight away. They *should* respons within 96 hours. If they don't respond, or refuse to pay out, you can cancel your booking within 14 days with no penalty.
