Hi, just applied this evening for Grass Roots as it was recommended as a good company. Don't know if I'll get in or not, but nothing ventured nothing gained! Just looking for a way to earn some much needed extra money (aren't we all!)

Yay! I just got 2 student accomodation jobs, a station job and then also a sandwich shop that I think has been released because the expiry date was today. I actually tried to accept more student accomodation, and didn't read the notes first (naughty me) but as I did the accreditation someone got in there before me. So then I applied for the final one which I thought was in Liverppol and got it. Then I read the read the notes and realised you had to visit the place - I live in London so I panicked! Turns out its just 15 mins from me ... phew! But serves me right for not checking what I was doing in my eagerness to get work!.

So you can accept more than 2 - just be quick!

(Interestingly though, I could only see the ones in my area much later after you had all been posting about them ... I felt left out for a while and didn't think I'd be able to see them.)

Morning all

I am doing one of the TNS coffee jobs this weekend , I am quite new to shopping for TNS and having just read through the notes I see that they only reimburse UP TO £x ...... (no fee either ....hmmmm....) So if I buy other things than the required purchase , maybe a another drink or a food item will they pay for that too , obviously up to the maximum reimbursement ???
I have run a search on the forums to try and find the answer but to no avail.

I've found GR good but jobs are few and far between. At least in my area anyway!

Has anyone managed to successfully pick up two jobs at the same station on RE? There were two at my local station but when I selected one the other one disappeared. Exactly the same has happened to me before and I just assumed somebody had beaten me to the other one but this time I'm thinking otherwise as it was very late last night.

I'm now left with just one job which is not worth it after petrol and parking.

When RE place limits on numbers of jobs we can do I wish they would tell us what they are first like other companies do:mad:

Maybe I should also see if I can get into Retail Eyes too then if I won't get much from Grass Roots. Are you allowed to join more than one company? Complete novice here (as you may be able to tell! :huh:)
