Just done a dine in for gyp pizza. Ordered a salad bar as per the brief but when i went to get it the salad was swarming with fruit flies! yuk! the waiter cancelled it for me cos im not risking food poisoning for anyone. So my question is, should i tell this to gyp and risk being sacked or not being paid at all for not buying the correct meal or should i just cancel it?

Tell them definitely. It's a hygiene issue and they need to know about these.

You did follow the instructions by ordering the salad in the first place so there's no reason why they shouldn't pay you.

They definitely need to be made aware of it.

I did one once where the salad was rancid and I had to complain. It was removed from the bill as a result and Gyp still paid me. I submitted a very negative report about that one and have done on other occasions without being sacked (yet:rolleyes:).

The pizza places seem to appreciate honest feedback more than certain other clients.
