Hiya all

I have a pizza delivery job on Friday, when it says ask for a receipt, do the delivery drivers carry receipts or do I need to ask over the phone for one when I place the order?

Hi all again

I am sure the answer is in this thread somewhere but not really got time to go through it all so apologies for repeating anything already asked.

Did my first MS today and am now filling out the becoming self employed form. Couple of questions:

What do I put down for what sort of work I am doing?

Name of business? I guess I leave this blank

Mumof2 - The e-mail I got sent said a circuit would be between 2 and 12, I doubt they would chuck you in at the deep and and give you 12 so stick with the application and see what happens. They might give you one further away one, but it'll probably be worth it!

Hmmm, I've already deleted my application. Would you say it's worth reapplying? The problem is if they give me a lot and they're a long way apart I'm stuck and will have to delete my application again - don't want to blot my copy book at my very first job

I didn't realise they only give you a few to do from the big long list of postcodes you get sent on the email from BARE.

I couldn't say I'm afraid. I've not done any jobs for BARE yet (got allocated 2 phone shops today though). I'm too young for the car circuits, but I still get sent the emails and I noticed it said 2-12 on it. Plus a few people on here have only got a couple so they must share them out a bit.

I don't think the queries are linked to the sacking... I was not queried about the job at all. I got an email a wk after the job was completed saying I wasn't allowed to go there again and a few days after that, a second email saying I can't do burger jobs anymore. Hope you get to keep it! Money isn't great but the way I see it, every little helps:T

sort of work: mystery shopping
name of business: whatever you fancy really. I use my own name (in full).

I've only done that job once and asked for a receipt when I ordered. Reasoning was: as the receipt comes from the till, if the delivery person didn't have one, I'd be in trouble. Common sense says they'd need to give you a receipt but who knows? Not sure if this helps at all... good luck though!

I once did a Bare car circuit and it said 3-14. Guess what? I got 14! and it was my first ever car circuit. The next car circuit I got said 2-11 and this time I only got 2. You never know!
