• Spikeg33 - it isn't the number of points that is the problem as I have less points and have seen those jobs. However, I didn't see any tonight, so maybe the release was regional and not in your area.

Good luck!

Good luck , will keep my fingers crossed !
• Regarding Gap. I've been signed up to them the longest out of all the companies but never completed or even applied for a job for them as I just kept missing out on them. I got an email about a month ago saying that they no longer required me to do any petrol assignments (they may have realised I don't drive) with some waffle about broadening their range of shoppers. Fair enough.

Then I recieved another email last week saying they were removing me completely from the system with no reason other than "we often remove shoppers from our system, and in this instance, you will not be required to complete any further assignments for GAPbuster".

To be honest they seem like a pretty !!!! company from what I've read on here and its no great loss to me but its still annoying. I'm tempted to send a shirty email back or maybe... phone them! They've already sacked me, I have nothing to lose :rotfl:

• Also, I registered for TNS last night and at the exact same time as recieving an email with the link for the test, I received an email from 'OB Services' with the subject line 'application for mystery shopping work' telling me I had been added to their database of mystery shoppers. Naturally I thought it was something to do with TNS but I've been on OB's website and can't see anything that connects the two. I dont remember signing up to this company but I've signed up for so many that I may have done it and just don't remember! :o
Nothing on their website looks dodgy but the email address its from is observices1@yahoo.co.uk which seems a bit dodgy.
Any ideas anyone?!

I just applied for a car job on BARE. Pure terrified as I do get scared by going into car dealerships. The money on offer was too good to ignore though :/ I'm sure I got an email from them saying that there were 3 different levels of the car shops as you can do as many as you want - is this right?

I was just browsing the car jobs on BARE. Is the fee per dealership? And do you have to specify just one day in which to do them. Also, do they tell you which places to go and you get to pick how many of them you want to do?

Also do they have to be done on your own or can you take family members with you?

Thanks

The fee is per dealership, and only paid if you complete the whole car circuit.

The visits have to be done by a deadline, as long as they are all done by that date then no problem, just make sure you put the date you intend to do each dealership in your Shop Log.

The circuits are pre-set and cannot be changed, usually though you will get a phone call from Bare offering you choice of small or large circuit, and if you ask, they will tell you postcodes of all the jobs in that circuit.

I am pretty sure you have to do these visits on your own.

Hope that helps!

Karen
• One of a the recent circuits my husband did was for you to choose the dealerships you want to visit yourself , however this was for commercial vehicles.

I agree with Scotties Mum , as far as both me and my husband are concerned we always do them alone (although if I am lucky he might chauffeur me ... !)

:confused:Well well well

I completed a burger job for GYP yesterday, it wasn't bad but not great either, I wrote up the job exact timings etc. knowing full well they would not be happy, but doing my job as it should be. Anyway later on yesterday I receive a phone call asking if I can do a breakfast job for same company as they need someone to do it urgently, I agreed. However logging on to my account this morning I find the job has been cancelled:confused: Going onto my emails I find this:

Thank you for completing xxxxxxxxxxxx assignments for GAPbuster Worldwide.
Following best business practice, our clients require us to continually provide a broad range of shoppers to complete their evaluations; therefore, we periodically review our shopper database. This is a great way to ensure GAPbuster delivers quality results to our clients, while also delivering to you, our shopper, the opportunity to try mystery shopping for other big name brands.
As a result of this practice, we are unable to offer you any further xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx UK assignments.
Any pending assignments that you have scheduled to complete in the next 2 days should still be completed. All other scheduled assignments have been cancelled from your account. Please visit our website to check which assignments should still be completed.
We currently have a variety of assignments available in your area for other clients, so we encourage you to login and try other brands on offer.
The quality of our results is extremely important to us, so we thank you for your assistance and continued efforts in helping us achieve such quality outcomes.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

So I would suggest if you want to continue doing burger jobs report everything as perfect every time!! I need to go on a diet anyway:rotfl:
