Can you tell from the fee details if they have given you an amount to spend in the main store as well as the pharmacy?

I did one where I had to visit only the phone shop and tech support. For that I used the same receipt details in both sections and it wasn't queried.
The brief states just a spend of £5.50 which will cover the product in the pharmacy plus the fee.

How long does it normally take GAPbuster to check an assignment? And do they notify you theyve done it? Submitted one of Monday (BH) but ive not heard anything

They don't tell you when they've checked them, they just do it and pay you. They will send you an e-mail if they have any questions.
  • Had an awful catalogue shop today. Assistant not interested at all in serving me.

Did my trial visit for TNS today which I have to report on for them. It went really well - I'm quite getting into pretending to be someone else ;)!

I've had some odd looks from other customers in supermarkets when trying to take discreet photos of displays:o I've also had some knowing smiles from passers by when trying to take discreet photos of sandwich shops:D

An odd thing happened ages ago when I did my first ever assignment for TNS. It was a large supermarket and I had to ask one of those stupid questions about an item very close. I spotted a member of staff and was just about to approach when another 'customer' got to them first and asked exactly the same stupid question;)

Maybe TNS were doing a quality check because it was my first ever assignment and they sent another more established shopper to do the same one:confused:

I had a TNS one where I had to lurk and wait to be approached about a telephone/tv all in one type thingy.....then listen to the jargon and sign up....returning 10 mins or so later to say I`d changed my mind and that I wanted the contract torn up, or something similar! I was so embarrased but the actress came out in me, before I knew it the reason I had given(that hubby might be annoyed as he usually makes those decisions) had reduced me to have tears in my eyes and the poor woman involved was beside herself that she had let me sign up in the first place. I cringe now when I think about it but I was quite a novice at the time and I think the tears were nerves. lol.

It's amazing how sometimes the false tears just come on!

I had to do a telephone call to a Government type department and make out that my husband was kicking me and the kids out of the house. I think I convinced myself in the end that it was really happening and I was beside myself crying down the phone. I felt depressed the rest of the day.

Good for you Mum of 2. It gets easier and easier. We'd all be dab hands at covering up if we were ever to have an affair! We become such good liars, it's frightening!
  • Evening everyone, I need a bit of tax advice please:eek:

I starting MSing in March and regisitered for tax in April, I have just received a letter telling me I need to submit my accounts online by October 31st. I have been keeping a note of mileage and other cost so i'm not worried about that but I am confused!

Do I just put in the details for the jobs I have done so far, or do I guess what I might do in the following 6 months from October to end March? Obviously the amount of work changes drastically from month to month.

What information do I actually need to input? Do I have to list very job individually (as I say I have the details but am just trying to work out how long this process should take me).

Roughly when would I need to make any payments due?

I dont want much info. do I??:rotfl:

    Many thanks in anticipation.

    Hi

Ive got a similar question. spreadsheets???? I have still not started mine and as the tax thingy is fast looming, thought i had better transfer my scribble, up until now I couldnt get one downloaded, now I have.....how the heck do I start!!! I know I have to put formulae in, but can someone give me column headings that I need. ie.. so i have one for miles then the next for mileage. If someone can list what is needed, I can work the rest out, so I know I am not missing a particular column.

    Thanks
