  • Hi does anyone have a phone number for tns ....I have a query?

I have to visit a supermarket and go to the pharmacy, phone shop and tech support. I HAVE to buy a recommended product in the pharmacy but tho it says i dont have to buy anything in the other 2 depts it states that i will have to buy something to prove i was in the shop. so will the product i buy in the pharmacy be sufficient do you think? On the questionaire irt seems to ask 3 times for receipt details so i wasnt sure if i had to buy 3 things
    Ta peeps

I haven't got one of these this time but I should think If it asks you to go through the main checkouts then you will have to purchase something else as well as the pharmacy product.

Impossible to get anyone at TNS on a Sunday....actually any day of the week now the AMs have gone!

Are you sure you have to go to all three? I just have to go to one of those outlets and assess it but the briefing notes mention all three of them.

I benefit greatly from last minute increases as assignments become available last minute. ...I sometimes wonder though whether the increase of unreliable shoppers has caused the initial lower fees as the agencies need to hold back funds in order to meet their deadlines.

Interesting theory, I hadn't thought of that. I suppose you're always going to have the odd job that gets released last minute and we all know that when extra money is offered people are more likely to pick up last minute jobs. So you may be right that they're trying to save money on the majority of jobs to pay for the few that need extra incentives. Although if the fees are lower they're going to be the first jobs to be dropped if someone gets a better offer. Can't really win!

I think GAP is fixed now by the way!

Yes, my brief states to visit all 3 departments. I noticed there were different scenarios with different fees when I applied for the assignment. I just am not sure if my purchase from the pharmacy will suffice as proof of a visit to the store.
Does anyone have a tele number please for tns?

I have never seen a fellow shopper before but the other day when I was doing a large supermarket job and had to ask a stupid question about locating an item that was pretty close to me. A customer looked at me and smiled. Either that or he though I was a complete idiot.:o
I've had some odd looks from other customers in supermarkets when trying to take discreet photos of displays:o I've also had some knowing smiles from passers by when trying to take discreet photos of sandwich shops:D

An odd thing happened ages ago when I did my first ever assignment for TNS. It was a large supermarket and I had to ask one of those stupid questions about an item very close. I spotted a member of staff and was just about to approach when another 'customer' got to them first and asked exactly the same stupid question;)

Maybe TNS were doing a quality check because it was my first ever assignment and they sent another more established shopper to do the same one:confused:

Can you tell from the fee details if they have given you an amount to spend in the main store as well as the pharmacy?

I did one where I had to visit only the phone shop and tech support. For that I used the same receipt details in both sections and it wasn't queried.
