  • Further to my post last night about how calls are recorded, I accepted the phone call and visit job with RE. I was expecting them to email me with the pin number for the recorded call but I don't seem to have anything. Do they normally email this or am I looking in the wrong place on screen? I have the normal phone number to reach the client.

I tried calling RE, but their offices are closed for the evening.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Have you looked at the questionairre? I think instructions are to be found there if I remember............

Anyone else hate GAPs new search?!
Yep, just about everyone as far as I know

I don't mind it, but then I live in a big city where jobs appeared under lots of other names so I used to have to trawl through them all, however I did prefer to be able to just look quickly at clients to see if there had been an upload.

I didn't like it at first, but I actually really like it now and find it easier.

I've worked out that the "towns" listed are actually the postal districts - eg Chelmsford will show up CM1, CM2 all the way up to CM20 or however far it does, likewise Dartford does DA1, DA2 etc .. actually means that you have to select fewer options to see more jobs.

Could someone PM me who the sandwiches on Gyp are please? And if possible the 3 figure search number. Thank you :)
  • I've never MS'd a burger place (having failed the test), but ever I am in there grabbing something mega quick between meetings, I always ask for a receipt anyway to claim it back from work - I've never noticed a huge increase in service, so I'll have to paymore attention now!

Just did a burger job ... hilarious the amount of balloons that appeared in the restaurant the minute I asked for a receipt!!!!:rotfl:

I did one for breakfast yesterday. It's in a shopping centre that's always deadly quiet first thing, so you might as well go in with a neon mystery shopper sign on your head.

As soon as I asked for a receipt, she scuttled off and told the shift manager who had a panic yelling at the kitchen staff to hurry up with my bacon roll, then the coffee machine needed more coffee in it, so the poor girl who served me got told off for not topping it up :o

Sat down and saw someone hurtle upstairs with a mop to the toilets, and another lady came over with a brush and made a point of asking me to move my feet so she could sweep under the table and chatted to me about the weather, then she put the brush away again. Then she came back with a cloth and started wiping down everything around me, and making a point of saying hello to other people as they entered.

Went up to the loo and almost keeled over at the smell of bleach. Came back down and there were three staff members at the bottom of the stairs. They all waved at me, said goodbye and wished I had a lovely day :rotfl:

    I love these jobs :D
Here I go again on my own....

I forgot to take down the shop on the right so need to drive past it again but don't want to bother filling in the questions if I have to do it all again when I get home!

Can you check on Google Streetview? I did that once :p

Hehe - I did a burger shop today too, the girl asked me if I wanted a receipt and the guy bringing the food to the counter had a grin on his face, I just knew he knew :D

Also had the floor under my table swept and they were rushing around like mad cleaning, and had my tray taken from my table for me when I had finished :rotfl:

On a previous job the manager came over and asked me if I enjoyed my meal and stood by the stairs to wish me goodbye :D
