Helen: when you press the button at the bottom of the page marked "reply" you will see a big white box which you write in and several small buttons up above the box.
Highlight the text you wish to strike through by clicking at one end of the text with the left key on the mouse, holding down the left key and dragging the mouse until the whole of the text you wish to strike through is highlighted.
Then click on the button above the white box you are writing in marked [STRIKE]S[/STRIKE] (an S with a line through it). This button is on the same line as Bold Italic Underline, and is at the far right of this line.

Hope that helps - you did say you wanted an absolute beginner guide, so apologies if you already know how to highlight

I've had a quick jug shower as my support worker is on her way to pick up her mobile which she left here yesterday.
Can't do washing as the last lot isn't dry yet.

Hugs Fedup, so sorry to hear about Mr Elderly Dog

    Hope you feel better Sexy

Greenbee hope your interview goes well

    Hey lovely,

When you go onto the reply to a thread screen, there's a symbol on the far right that looks like an S with a line through it = strike.gif

Highlight the text you want to strike out, then press the strike.gif button, you'll see something similar to this:
    [STRIKE ]Hi, I'm flying today![/STRIKE ]

    That will give you this:

    [STRIKE]Hi, I'm flying today![/STRIKE]

    Hope that helps!

    How is the cat Dusty?

His face and glands are swollen. Like me the vet thinks he has had a scratch to the eye. He has been given Antibs. Vets have cost me £100 this month with both cats! He hates the car, foams at the mouth and then empties both his bowels and stomach:eek:
Oh Tia, congratulations! I must have missed the new flybaby's arrival, sorry. How wonderful, I'm so pleased for you. Boy or girl? Got a name yet?

I've missed this too? Is there a separate thread?

froddington - how was the show?

It was brilliant; thanks for asking! Brian Conley and Nigel Planer were hysterical in places and were ad-libbing and making themselves laugh too :rotfl: Very good cast and moving and funny at the same time :D
Note to self do not give breakfast to a cat who gets car sick before taking it to the vet.

does anyone know when we get the clubcard vouchers for the august round

Points up to 26th July will be converted into vouchers to arrive anytime between now and the first week of September - they send them out in batches, I think.

I am just off to dad's, but first I need to update my list .............:D

ETA - congrats Tia; great news - hugs and prayers for you all x
