Just to clarify, yes he did receive 4 phones. He's really embarrassed about the situation and didn't want to ask for help. He did contact 3 mobile after a couple of months and they told him to get a lawyer if he wanted to get out of the additional unwanted contracts.0 -
if he had contact them as soon as he recived the other fones he would have been able to return them within the compulsary 7 working day DSR period
I would suggest contacting the ceo office of 3 tp see if they can do anything but tbh I doubt it as because it took him so long to say anything about the 3 extra phones it could be viewed as at the time he was agreeing to the contracts
One other option to get some cash is to simply sell the phones0 -
Could be a third party, for new contracts and transfers it could be done by them using a internet site using a marketing company like Tradedoubler. (or even via a money back site I suppose)lauraandclive wrote: »But who do they get the £40-120 from for getting all these signups? Presumable 3 Mobile?
Upgrades are a bit harder since they'd have to ring 3 to find out what tariff your currently on.
It could be that this is the first time 3 have actually heard there's a problem, but surely they should be a bit suspicious of multiple signups of the same person coming from the same source?
Just thought anything on the package to say where the phone comes from, phones usually come from the seller not 3. That is of course if it didn't just arrive in a non descriptive brown package.0
