    Yip, I think that's what I need. :D

I've found this which I think is really streamlined looking but I'm not sure if wet hands would be able to turn it easily, simply because there's no protrusions. I like the look though.

I also found a fairly plain spout which wasn't too long, but I have no idea how a deck mounted shower thing would join up to all of this. I'm assuming the plumber would have to route loads of extra pipework.

I wish plumbing sites would show suggested 'route diagrams' to show us lesser mortals how all thisng fit together behind the scenes. Some electrical sites do that with wiring diagrams.....so I dont see how an example diagram couldn't be shown for plumbing.

Good morning: have you asked the plumbers you've had in?. Pick their brains/ask them to explain how it all fits together etc. They would be best placed to advise as they have been on site and know you ;)

    Unfortunately they are not. :)

They are young lads just starting out and whilst they are good at their work, their product knowledge is limited. They will be making it up as they go along. :rotfl:They tell me to pick what I want (within the realms of what will work with my plumbing/boiler) and they will make it all fit. :D

That said, I am very happy with the standard of work done by the plumbers, everything is so neat (and leak free! :D) so the lack of product knowledge or suggestion is a small price to pay.

Hi...an ideal opportunity for them to develop their customer services skills and expand their knowledge base (via a tame customer;))... the sooner they able to do more then 'just plumbing' the more successful and versatile they will be in a tough economic climate.

Conversely, don't hesitate to contact manufacturers directly as a 'civilian' for info and advice.
