Hi everyone
I'm with O2 on contract, I have a lovely Sony K750i, i'm 8 months into the contract. The joystick has stopped working correctly. O2 have said they can send it off for repair, they don't know how long it'll take and they'll lend me an old cheap Nokia in the meantime. Grrrr...
What i'd like is a straight swop, a new K750i, because I'm due to work abroad for the next few months.
Has anyone experienced a similair problem and managed to get a new one successfully out of 02? Or, failing that does anyone know any method to remedy the joystick problem?
Thanks for reading, hope to hear from you, kind regards

Hi there. I have just had a Nokia 3230 replaced 7 months into my contract with O2. Had to really push for it to be changed even though it had already been away for repairs twice. They seem to work on a "3 strikes then out" basis, which is not really acceptable.
After a bit of a battle I now have a 6230i instead. I would see what happens when your handset comes back from repairs for the first time. If it breaks down again, stick to your guns and insist on a new handset. I found speaking to Retentions and threatening to cancel got more joy than just speaking to general Customer Services.0 -
its common for the joystick to get unresponsive -same with all s/e models that use the same joystick.
it is an easy repair for them so shouldnt be long alothough if you had taken it to cpw or crc onsite repairs you would have prob got it back same day0
