Iphone 3GS security update
I read in the news the other day about a security risk associated with Iphones etc. I rang O2 and they said it was an Apple issue and to contact them. Well I actually found on my Itunes there was an update available Version 3.0.1 which fixes the problem. It's about 300mb so quite a download. I thought it strange that apart from the news there wasn't any information received from O2 or Apple.
A problem shared is a problem multiplied.

I thought it was a little unfortunate for O2 and Apple that the reporting about the SMS exploit was all about the iPhone - even though other phone's operating systems were also vulnerable to it.0
