Balance Transfer Question

in Credit cards
I have a Halifax credit card with 5K on it and I'm looking for a 9m 0% balance transfer deal.
As with Martin's advice Great Ormond Street, Guide Dogs, Harley Davidson, Macmillan Cancer Relief, Mencap, NSPCC, RNID, The Scout Association. appear to offer the best deals without a fee but they are all HBOS.
Does that mean I wont qualify?
I already have a virgin card although its clear of debt. Does that mean I cant qualifyy for other MBNA cards either
I've been tarting for a while now so I still have cards from Natwest, Sainsbury's, Tescos and Smile as well.
Does this mean I have reached the limit as far as tarting goes? or are there other cards I can try?

This is more difficult question. Many have a few MBNA cards, but AFAIK recently it got more difficult to get another MBNA card if you already have one. However, Virgin is know to offer new deals when you try to close the account. See, for example, Virgin repeater . Also if you get 0% HBOS card, you can transfer youy debt from Halifax to Virgin first (£50 fee) or some other card and then to the new HBOS card.I already have a virgin card although its clear of debt. Should I cancel old credit cards?I've been tarting for a while now so I still have cards from Natwest, Sainsbury's, Tescos and Smile as well.
