Does House Insurance cover Mobiles

I have found a few threads on this, but not any real answers.

Would personal Possessions on a house insurance policy cover :

1/ If I loose my mobile
2/ If my Mobile is stolen
3/ Any calls made from my mobile if it is stolen
4/ If I damage my mobile (drop it down the loo or something)
5/ If my mobile was lost or stolen how do I get a replacement SIM ( I would like to keep my number if possible.

Any help gratefully received :j

I am sick of paying a fiver a month for something I have never used, and I wonder if I would do better to save the £60 pa. :T

Thanks

I have my contents insurance with barclays and i had to add Possessions away from home which covers my mobile, laptop etc. So best bet would be to ring up and check to see what excatly it does cover.
