I used to like these from the chip shop when they were deep fried in batter - you've got me fancying one now lol! Anybody know what batter I'd use? would it be just a basic mix?

Comes out set but a bit gooey but devine... be warned, you only need a small slice!;)
Sorry i dot know quantities, as is a recipe cadged from work...
Cherries
Digestive biscuits (about 4 times as many as the cherries)
enough mars bars melted down to bind all of the above
Crush biscuits and slice cherries in half... melt mars bars and combine all. Stir occasionally whilst cooling for 10 minutes, then pour into a pre-lined loaf tin (lined with cling film).
When set remove from tin & cling film, and cut into slices then diagonally across the slice into triangles. Serve two with a scoop if ice cream.
