Morning all,
lovely & sunny after yesterdays downpours!
Today:
- More hokey cokey (on the line rather than draped round the house :T)
- Going to a christening this afternoon, with food & drinkies afterwards, so no cooking today :T
- Tidy house - we've only been home 2 days, how does it get trashed so quickly?!
:p
Have a sunny Sunday everyone xxxx0 -
First time posting on this daily thread for me -
1) Weekly shopping yesterday - bought lots of stuff with the yellow labels on for lunches so saved quite a bit there
2) Filled car to half instead of full as I normally would have done after reading on this site that its better to only half fill.
3) Checked tyre pressures and they were all 27 instead of 32 so have pumped them up.
4) Daily scratches - the £1 bonus from St. Minver on Friday had gone into the cash amount instead of bonus amount allowing me to be able to withdraw my first tenner
Halfway to my 2nd fiver on Virgin free scratch too.
5) Helped my mum chop some logs ready for the fire in winter. She gathers them whilst walking doggy every now and again and quite a pile was building up. Really could do with a chainsaw though, my shoulders killing after all that sawing - must look for one on freecycle.
6) Will drive back home this evening at 65mph as I find it saves petrol on long journeys :j#5 - Save £12k in 20260 -
Hi all,
a nice sunny day down here today, which is just as well as we were keeping out of the way while OH filmed his opus in the back garden.
Today I
1) Took B to a free screening of Bandslam. Took own drinks.
2) Spent my free £10 House of Fraser voucher courtesy of Barclaycard. It was really difficult to find anything under £10 so I got some nice bits from the Paperchase section.
3) Went to the car booty and got some Lego, a marble run and a school coat for T.
4) Went to Adventure Wonderland using season tickets. Took own drinks and snacks.
5) Topped up handwash bottles with cheap bubble bath.
6) Ripped face wipe in half before use.
7) Entered Cokezone points.
8) Found Gary.
Can't think of much else. See you tomorrow,
L x0 -
