Where did you get married? If it was a hotel how about going there for dinner, or if it was somewhere with a nice park how about going for a picnic - I know the weather has been shocking recently, but hopefully it will turn out nice.
Or, how about going on a date with him? you could go to London and have a lovely day for the price of the ticket (go to free museums etc)

Morning All:D
Thanks to candy as always for the thread.
Well this week has been quite a good DFW week for me. i took my DD to her grandma's in Oxford for 3 days as a break and OH had to say at home and work so i managed to underspend on my budget (plus my mother in law treated us a couple of times too). I haven't had to cook at home all week with being away and i went to my mums on thursday for tea and she gave me left overs for us for last night so i have saved quite a bit on food :j.
Well i am trying to have a LSD today and a NSD tomorrow but we will see.... Here is my list for this weekend.- Post the rest of my ebay parcels (i have made £216 this week i listed them before i went away so it was a nice surprise when i got back:D)
- List some more items on ebay
- Take photo's of more items
- take returns back to next for refund
- make lasagne from freezer and cupboard store for mum & dad coming tomorrow
- Go to friends and let DD play with their son
- Trim garden if it ever stops raining:mad:
- Ask mum to bring some plants from her border with her tomorrow to plant
- Tidy out conservatory and put some of DD old toy's in the garage ready for NCT Sale
- Get money bags from post office for change jar
- Make some handmade cards and thing of how to sell them.
- Get OH to put new curtain poles up that i picked up as a bargain in the Next sale
have a good weekend everyone

Thanks Candy, it's our first anniversary next Saturday! We got married in the new forest and would go and stay there for the weekend but have decided to do that another year when we have more money! Still paying off our honeymoon (although we did go travelling for four months so don't feel sorry for us!) Have looked through the forum and seen a few good ideas! One good idea was to get a big card and then write in it every year so you have it to look back at (plus money saving!)
A friend of ours is having their annual BBQ on the day, we missed it last year, they have a lovely big house so we are going to that as will be far cheaper than going out for a meal!
Just stuck for a present, thinking about getting a paper weight engraved which he could have at work! (As paper is thing for first anniversary!)Thank you to all posters:beer:0 -
