How do I report an email from DR Congo asking for cash

I heard from yahoo.co.uk this morning, they say they have dealt with the account which was mentioned in the original email, they cant go into details of the action that they have taken due to privacy.
I'm happy with that.0 -
I saw something on tv with the scammers where they reckon 1 in 200 or 1 in 250 people reply to the emails with money.0

I think you try being a bit less cynical and send Dr Congo exactly what he wants. It's probably kosher and you'll end up stinking rich :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

A few years ago, it used to be fun to play games with these thick scammers (and do the same with their attempted eBay scams, too.)
Nowadays though, they ain't worth anyone's time. Most people have seen the scam / got the T shirt / had a laugh and gone home.0 -
About this Doctor Congo. Is he a medical doctor or just one with a PHD? I reckon he's the same as "Dr" Gillian McKeith, who bought her qualifications off the internet. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Then this morning I had a heart felt email from Mrs Mable. Poor old Mrs Mable has had a real time of it lately. Her son murdered her husband, who was no other than President Kabila of DRC! She has $22 million which she cant get hold of and for reasons unknown to me, has decided I would be a good candidate to help in getting her money back. To cut a very long story short, all the details must be kept secret, the Lovely Mrs Mable will put money into my bank account if i give her my details and for my trouble I will get 10% of her $22 million!
As if being a part of a murderous, thieving family wasnt enough for poor Mrs Mable, she is also a refugee in a Abijdan.
Mrs Mable must be at her wits end, and asks that I act fast to save her life!!
So fast I shall be, who do you contact to report these scams? Is there somewhere to forward them on to? I dont want to delete the email until I know there is nothing i can do to bring it to someones attention.
dont be so cynical it could be true and if you dont reply/help be it on your head :rolleyes:0 -

You don't think they've maybe sent you their standard email? Just maybe?0 -
