Thanks to dogmaryxx I used Revo to remove Sims 3.....

I now need to remove windows live messenger as it is not working correctly, even the brill Revo cannot find it, please dogmaryxx or anyone can you advise me, thanks :)

to get the command box to stay open ,type cmd.exe in the run facility ,it will give you the black box to type into instead of just taking the command and skipping away and leaving you wondering did it do it.
