Thanks to dogmaryxx I used Revo to remove Sims 3.....

I now need to remove windows live messenger as it is not working correctly, even the brill Revo cannot find it, please dogmaryxx or anyone can you advise me, thanks

- Press the Windows button on your keyboard, or launch the Start Menu using your cursor.
- Select the "Run..." option.
- In the prompted box, enter "RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove".
- Press the Enter button on your keyboard, or click "OK."
- When you are prompted and asked to restart your computer, click "Yes."

Hi, I entered it on the command thingy (line?) lol, it flashed up a response very briefly and then did no more... I seem to remember this issue before when using command......Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0

When I re booted windows live messenger came up as preparing to install and was still there, sorry.......Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0

I haven't looked at previous threads so I might be missing something, but why can't you uninstall it through Control Panel?0

It goes on to say:Click the <Start> button- Click <Run>

- Click the <OK> button
- Click <Yes> to restart your computer
Alternatively, instead of uninstalling Windows Messenger, you can also disable Windows Messenger.- Click the <Start> button
- Click <Run>
- Enter the command "services.msc"
- Click the <OK> button
- Find Messenger in the services list and double-click on it
- Change the Startup type to Disabled
- Click the <Stop> button
- Click the <OK> button
