Don't do it Shaun - Ikea is really really bad for you (and your bank balance).
Don't go to the 'market place' it has nothing in it you'd ever want or need!!!
Don't buy the Swedish chocolate and biscuits - they're not nice!
Can you tell why I ration myself to 2 visits per year!!!

Hi again Shaun, just a few thoughts on the supermarket bill. Since you've only just started recording the bills, you're bound not to have any specific idea of how long things last - that'll get better the longer you record it.
Second, even tho mysupermarket.com probably doesn't do Eire, it might be worth putting a typical shop in (when you know what that is) for comparison with folks on here, it means that you *can* compare using UK prices - after all, for your reallife budget, you can't compare it, but for your real life shopping you can use different prices to check whether you're not picking up on some of the OS tips. Tho I must say, from how you describe your batch cooking and whatnot, I can't think of many that you're missing. Probably doesn't make any sense now....2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
It makes sense to do that KC. I would suggest ( sneakily) putting in an address for Northern Ireland Tesco...and Asda, will certainly give you an option to compare.
Have you any nice nappies you can put in next doors bins?:rotfl:Blackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
