Hi Shaun
Finely got a moment's break to post on your lovely new (and very busy:eek:) diary :T:T. Wow... I'm truly impressed at what you get up to each day
Your mincing has spurred me on, I am just about to start mincing too! For me it's only chilli and bog as can;t eat wheat..(have found a decent make of gluten-free spag
:T).....but rules out rather a lot of things like pastry, dumplings, breadcrumbs etc
.......and worst of all....no more bacon butties or yorkshire puddings
Not been to see Gforce yet .....everything here has been rather chaotic :eek:
Ref cheaper groceries over here.... What stuff is most expensive and do you have room to store.......maybe we can shop for you and send food parcels :rotfl:or perhaps we could organise a DFW meet at your place and all bring a case/box of a particular product (a la French wine/beer/fags trip)
GLad to see things are starting to move for you on the bureaucracy front (I've just realised that when you break it down to spell it it is "bureau crazy"...very apt:rotfl::rotfl:)
Hi KC:hello:
Sorry to hear you had piggie flu (Piggies send their love) and glad you are feeling a bit better.:mad::mad: to Virgin..ladies of letters are starting to sharpen their pencils
As for the DIY sanding.....if you;re up to it, I'm sure a visit could be arranged a bit sooner than your current predictions
Right off to mince

Well, I did.... but it wasn't correct (phone ex-directory, thats no good for a self employed person!) and they wanted to give me Virgin TV too, and I didn't want it. I think that might be the problem - the deal is supposedly 3 for £25, and I've taken 2. Frankly, I don't believe it, their whole finance and deal and offer system is a complete shambles, they're worse than a rail company and a mobile phone company combined, its horrific. The main thing for me still, tho, is to complete it all completely online, because I've gone through quidco and thats the rule, do it *all* online - so it can't be a letter, has to be an email at most.Hi KC:hello:

:hello::hello::hello: Hiya! I'm dying to see the piggies, can't wait - tho I'm glad its *next* weekend, I've been wilting like a wilting flower.... viruses are always my weak point, thats what I had earlier in July. And the sanding - I'm just pleased to have finally got started again with stuff, I did quite a bit at first. But you *know* what a dive my place looks like now - and it hasn't been flooded, either! In the last few days, I've also been scraping off old grout on the tiles in the bathroom and toilet. I *will* make this place nicer to live in - I don't *care* about this stuff, but it adds up, until you're living in a real dump. That ends now!
Prospects of a sanding party .... we need a top totty party at yours first tho, Wol!
Okay, hijack over .... I've *got* to start my own diary again - sorry Shaun2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

virgin sound like a pain in the but!!
:j to doing little jobs around the house,,,anything that makes ""your space"" move comfortable is good,,do you watch the various home/house programs,,,they show that a de-clutter and a little paint make such a difference,,,,i dont have the eye for this but my oh does,,,,she will wont to do something and im thinking,,,mmmm,,,shes lost the plot here,,,then viola its transformed into a nice area..
hope the bovine flu shifts soon you seem to have had it for weeks..
ive still got the yuks but mostly in the head,,,,the cold folks the cold!!!!

Hi Shaun! I do watch some property programmes - always try to catch Sarah Beeny, I adore her, and while I've been sick I've been watching re-runs of Grand Designs, and a little morning one called Homes Under The Hammer - and there's a decluttering one right after that called something like Trash For Cash. They're quite interesting, but its *boring* watching TV, even if you don't have the energy for anything else. Thats why even these little jobs make me happy!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

have to say watching tv is not the most interesting when your sick...
i think you need to concentrate on one room at a time,,
are you re grouting the bathroom??
that jobs been going on for a while now?? or has it gone from a little job to a bwoody big one??
in the last house,we had a small leek in the shower,,,looked like a re seal job,,cleared out the mastic and then the tiles started to fall off the wall...had to re plaster the shower and clean and replace 30 tiles,,,,so much for a smll job!!
hate anything to do with water,,,because they always end up being bigger jobs than you thought!!
as for little job,,,they are usually quick and so give a great deal of satisfaction....
i weeded the front footpath last week,,,took 3 to 4 hrs,,,even now i look at it and think ,,,that looks so much better,,,,
and all id done is weed and place some white gravle in a gap between some slabsWAS DEBT FREE & STILL BAAARRRRRKING
