Sorry to bring the subject up again about mag coupons but I have had a good idea!
What about one of the mods starting a new shiny thread as soon as possible. That way any newbies or lurkers would not come across the subject by looking back on the last 10 pages or so. Or as Dave quite rightly said the links are still to be found within this thread.
Maybe as PC, who is very experienced in MOC usage has suggested, she would have the final say on what coupons are to be put on the first page0 -

I, on the other hand, am not!
Ageing is inevitable - maturing is optional0 -
I have had a chat today with the Customer Service Manager at my local Extra store, as a result I am appealing to those who use internet coupons to please read this.
My store started saying 'one coupon only' (of any coupons) and as a result I wrote to my CSM again (last time was in 2007 when she confirmed the policy as per National policy).
She said they are having a lot of problems with internet coupon abuse and it is a massive problem throughout Tesco. One bloke went through the till EIGHT times on Sunday at my store and was back again on Monday at which point my CSM personally intervened and refused any more.
The thinking is that you should only have ONE internet coupon for any product, end of. So if you come in regularly with the same internet coupon (ie unique code replicated) they will be checking and looking at CCTV etc and security are getting involved.
She told me people are printing one off and getting them mass printed and circulating them amongst family etc. Tesco cannot get their money back on these 'one per household/customer' coupons so it is fraud printing off more than couponnet (for example) allows.
At the moment they are still fine with one of each MOC if off packaging etc up to full value of the shop, they haven't got a problem as long as this isn't abused, ie multi shops on belt or repeated visits the same day with same set of coupons. The only subtle change is one per product/manufacturer..... eg the three Ecover ones that were on the Waitrose Ecover washing up liquid, they will only take one, not all three, per shop. In theory yes you could start saying 'Unilever makes that, you have a coupon for another Unilever product' but I think we are talking one per brand as opposed to parent companies!
Discussing the problems, I got the impression the internet coupon thing is a MASSIVE problem and risks bringing down the coupon policy completely. I'm seriously contemplating contacting H.O. and suggesting they only accept internet coupons on the product. Sorry but if it protects the coupon policy on the coupons they can get the money back on then I'll do it.
Please, if you use internet coupons, if you are into downloading them, saving them as pdf's etc and printing out multiple copies of them, PLEASE STOP NOW. They have unique numbers and Tesco can only get reimbursed for one. There is every possibility of you being on CCTV and investigated. At best a store ban, at worst a criminal record.
I don't work for Tesco, I work on the railways actually! I do however use MOC's, but I am getting sick of the abusers spoiling things. They ARE really looking at this and globally its something they are working to stamp out. The upshot of this could possibly be the downfall of the coupon policy altogether. Don't be greedy, please folks, take heed.0 -

Thank you for letting us know about this. Although I may be deemed a lurker I do contribute sometimes to the discussions on here and I sincerely hope others take this information on board. People may find it funny walking away after their 5th shop of the day but they risk ruining it for others like myself who only shop once a week.
MOC have helped me greatly in these tough times and I really hope those who have abused it calm down and allow the rest to get on with our responsible couponing0 -
The problem is pure GREED. What these idiots don't see is past the end of their nose, ie that their greed, multiplied up by a small minority like them, is causing Tesco a headache and major losses (there are some gangs buying large value products regularly). The result of this could well be a line drawn and only coupons allowed if buying the product, on ALL coupons
Unfortunately these idiots think its not them, its all the others. But actually each store seems to have just a handful of them. Each and every one of these people is a thorn in the side of Tesco and they are sick of it, so watch out.0 -
Sorry, but i have not used this thread before. Can somebody please tell me if there is a shortcut to the coupons. Where can i find the MOC's on here, i just keep coming across a lot of chat. many thanks for your help.0

Tesco are doing us a favour. People need to realise this. They are helping and some are taking the mick. I can see this all being washed up soon if people dont just calm down.0
