I know I speak for many when saying thanks so much for all your work on keeping the front page up to date.Ageing is inevitable - maturing is optional0 -
well i just went to my tesco's to get a few bits i missed on my shopping last week, was told i could only use up to 50% off my shopping, last week was told that i could pay for all my shopping using vouchers, i went to cs and was told there its always been 50% because a few years ago there was a scammer:mad:
when i spoke to the manager about what i was told last week he said yes and i queried that as well, that was you was it?
it wasn't me? i felt a bit silly but politely stated that this wasn't a problem for me but that maybe all cashiers should be told the correct information so as to avoid this happening again.
i am happy to get what i can off but did feel embarrassed at having to keep people waiting behind me:o:o, and felt further embarrassed at managers attitude towards me:o:o:o
i think so as to avoid embarrassment all tescos stores should put up a notice to inform people what the rules are at that store, that way everyone will know the rules and all customers will know what its all about0 -
Hi everyone,
Have posted on the newspaper thread and will post here too as I was the one to flag the glitch and feel should let everyone know that the DM £2/£8 voucher, which I used y'day with no Household purchases, doesn't go thru now without having met the requirements...:(:(:( tried to use 1 on some newpaper purchases and it was a complete 'NO, NO!':(:(... apologies to get everyone's hopes high...:(:o

Right peeps Im after a bit of advice/info, Ive just returned from my local Ts and to cut a long story short they wouldnt accept any MOCs (except a DM 1). The duty manager and stand-in manager were trying to see whether I could use them (they had my MOCs and email from Ts Head Office). And apparently 'theres been a lot of coupon abuse in this store even from their own staff' and 'changed the policy about 2 wks ago' (which is blooming coincidental as that was what we told the stand-in when we were last in there and was able to use MOCs). He also said they were getting/had been prosecuted for people using them and not buying the product etc etc hence the change in policy.
I was told I could go see the Store Manager or the Customer Services Manager to clarify what is accepted there.
So Id love to know if anyone has had any similar stories/outcomes and what I could say/use to back me up on coupon use when I go see the Store Manager tomorrow????Opinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!!0 -

Mrs Angry, I think the stores and their staff play this 'one staff knows, but the other doesn't and then the 1st one will not know' very well... I believe this is played very well and customers, who use coupons, are made to feel very uncomfortable & out of place... even when one armours oneself with the thickest skin one can find it's hard not to notice the staff's glances/rolling of eyes, the supervisors/runners 'don't care attitude', the customers behind who not only are privy to what's happening in our transaction but get quite fed up (rightly sometimes) as the runners take soooo long to sort us out... this when most, if not everyone, knows what the Coupon Policy is... there's no need to be polite, friendly, if one is a coupon user... it's almost like one is a freeload**, someone worthless...:rolleyes: this behaviour is so stressing & takes ones energy out...:(:(:(0 -

Best person to see is the Customer Service Manager, as he/she will be in charge of Cash Office and will know exactly what is what. Although the Store Manager will always have the final say.0 -
I've just been to my local T's and as I had the £6.80 pedigree moc I thought I'd ask if they sold it. The dm checked their system which said yes, then took me to the shelves, the shelf was empty but the label was there that said 15kg pedigree price £24 odd so she said it was ok to use. When I went to the till she came to the sa and told them the coupon was ok as they did sell it.
I'm juts hoping it was the right one.september wins - toshiba laptop, timotei shampoo & conditioner, mccains games, pimms picnic blanket.
october wins - grants tumblers, £20 petrol voucher, sega console, iphone
novembers wins - £50 on walkers rainy day, £50 itunes voucher

Just reading the small print on some Baco 20p vouchers from the GFS booklet.
States that "photocopies/printed copies are not accepted". Surely this means that any printed from the link on page 1 are likely to be rejected by Baco & thus cause problems with the stores.
If so, should it join the magazine ones and be removed?
From the posts on here it seems that a number of T stores are becoming more difficult & for a small value coupon, is it worth adding more fuel to the problems?
Thanks to PC for all her hard work in maintaining the info. on page 1.0
