Re the magazine coupons - i sugested they be removed as soon as they were posted, as they are a policy stopper.

The fact they remained up just made me think that some people on here are not as anti-coupon abuse as they claim.

We know that people are using this chat forum to carry out coupon abuse, and therefore need to be diligent about the coupons we post.

Simply posting dodgey coupons and then asking people not use them is madness.

I go on ebay "out of curousity" nanna.:D We (some of us, check on ebay not to purchase but to report them directly to mfg. It is a waste of time reporting to Ebay- by the time they investigate it the listing would have ended - don't waste your time on Ebay go directly to mfg).

Ok reporting to mfg, but as many sellers say "no need to buy product in Tesco", this is an even faster way to end policy.

Now let me think....have a got room for 3 dishwasher tablets?..Takes a 'quantum leap' to answer this question...I'll 'finish' by adding....I doubt it very much....but then ...it might have a moc....what can I throw out of the shed?

BS, I know where to use my dishwasher tablets now. Washing Machine!:T & it works the same as cleaning your dishwasher. Except the machine got to be empty & in hot cycle wash.

Agree totally. Never ever used them myself but they are wide open to abuse.

My dad was told by a friendly SA (who takes all my dads coupons) that he was no longer allowed to take any that begin 99!!!!!

    Has anyone else had this?

If this was the case then we couldn't use ANY coupons coz they start with 99...:o from previous posts I understand the coupons staff aren't allowed to accept are between 992 to 999... but the ones with 990 & 991 should be fine...

CouponWoman - you're so lucky to be able to use so many in one transaction. I wish every store adhered strictly to the national policy and let everyone put thru an unlimited amount of "one of each".

May reduce alleged abuse in the long run.

Hi, I've been watching the threads for what seems like forever now so I'm full aware of the rules so here goes..............
I went to my local T's last week to do my weekly shop, handed over about 12 coupons ranging from 20p to £1.80odd (pedegree dog food). all bar 1 were internet coupons. Upon handing them over the cashier called over the supervisor, who dissapeared with my coupons. A few minutes later she came back holding some in each hand...............In one hand were the ones she would accept - the under £1 ones, in the other hand, the ones she wouldn't accept. Her reasons she told me were "they are all clearly photocopies"! I was utterly disgusted as I know the rules and follow them very closely. I only print in B&W as my Kids get through the colour ink before I get a look in. I went to CS to challenge this & I was then told they will only accept the internet ones if I purchased the product, which is now national policy according to her?????

Any idea's where I stand on this?

p.s Thank you to all who post on here, all info has been very helpful keeping my weekly shopping budget intact [:)]

This should cheer us up -
Daily Mail Tesco vouchers are back this weekend!
    quote:
The coupons in the Daily Mail on Saturday September 5 offer you £10 off your groceries, and on Sunday September 6, The Mail on Sunday offers you £10 off products in Tesco’s huge non-food range.

    many thanks

I think there were two genuine misunderstandings today (everyone is perhaps very wound up about the idea of some scammers using and abusing the magazine mocs).

As I see it, bham_dave wasn't referring to bullshot in that post. Not at all, it was just a group of characteristics picked from the names of the most obscure mags.

And Dr Who_who was joking (even used a sarky smiley) when asking if nanna was an ebay seller. It wasn't meant seriously.

    Calm down all. :eek::A:A:A:A

And many thanks to PC for acting as quickly as she could to remove the links. IIRC they were only posted there after some real debate and the consensus of opinion was to put them on the first post with a warning.

Maybe next time (if there is a next time) the consensus will be different.
