I have 10mb Broadband, phone w/ talk unlimited24 with NTL and i phoned to cancel and switch to TalkTalk Because TalkTalk is offering phone with unlimited local and national and free upto 8mb broadband.
NTL offered me my broadband, phone w/ Talk unlimited24, Free International for £22.49 month where as my normal bills are usually around £70.

Thats the best saving from NTL I have heard so far, well done you :j
The new offer from TalkTalk/CFW is obviously going to bring out great retention offers from the likes of NTL and hopefully other suppliers.0 -
Well done! Thats a great saving. Could you give more details of the talk talk plan please as I have the same package on ntl as you had. My monthly bill is around the £60 mark so it would be great if I could have some more info before approaching ntl. Thanks.0

OOOPS! Just found Martin's thread on talk talk!0

Ok I'm a secret lurker - I've been browsing Martin's site over over a year now and finally decided to pluck up courage and dive in! So if I sound like a numpty - apologies! Here goes.....
I just read Martin's early thoughts on the Talk Talk offer andit already seems that it's not likely to be a good deal for me as they will still need to go through my BT exchange (extra £10 per month charge). So I've spent the last hour registering with Primus and 18185 to get cheaper calls (I need to get a life!) and rung BT to get a cheaper broadband deal. They are offering £15.99 for a 12 month contract (a saving of a whopping £2 p/m!!!! - not quite NTL standards! but not bad for a reliable service?
So come on Money Saving Experts - should I tie myself into BT for another 12 months or wait for the Talk talk offer (and others) to create a price war on the "full bundle" deals? Please reply.......!0 -
