Yes, I'm in the same position - nice Blue card - no mention of Miles - thinking of phoning the Diamond Club number.

Having checked the website again, I have found this in the T&C's.
*Offer available to UK applicants, who make their first card purchase within 90 days of the account opening date. For flight redemption, any taxes, fees and charges must be paid for in pounds sterling at the time of booking. These will vary according to the qualifying destination and are subject to change as a result in a fluctuation in taxes, airport levies and exchange rates.
So perhaps using the card & getting a statement will trigger the nice miles !0 -
You may still need to call them. I'm a bmi Diamond Club/Star Alliance gold member and when I opened my account 3 years ago first of all they opened a separate blue card account to put the air miles on, even after I had given them my Diamond Club number during registration, and then it took 3 months for the air miles to come through.0

did you recieve your diamond club membership details after your card, because i have the card just not the diamond club details yet?0

If that was to me, I already had a Diamond Club card. When they sent me the blue card, it was direct from bmi Diamond Club and nothing do with MBNA. I guess this is why there was such a timescale for my miles coming through.0 -
HI
You do need to spend on the card (pack of chewy @ the supermarket)
Im stilol waiting for my miles too

After reading about the 20,000 air miles I applied for a BMI card. At the time (last week) there was no mention on the application form about the said air miles. Now I've just read the following on the BMI site -
'This offer is open to all new BMI classic mastercard holders who have applied via this application form containing details of the 20,000 destinations miles offer'
So, has anyone out there who completed their application before this latest bit was added actually been credited with their 20,000 air miles?0 -
Yes you do have to spend onthe card. The miles takes absolutely ages to come on to the card. We did this the last time the offer came round. Once they are on the card you will have to phone them up to book any flight (apart from actual BMI flights) and get quotes for taxes etc. We have just been to Poland for a week on LOT Polish Airlines and the taxes, charges etc came to about £100 (2 people). Did enquire about Czech Republic but taxes etc were nearly £150!
There has also been a lengthy thread about using the miles in the states etc which can be found on the Travel Board (i think but can't find it at the mo)
**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0 -
I received a letter with my PIN on Saturday, but haven't received the actual card or anything else yet (today is Wednesday). Just wondering how long it took for other people's cards to come through.0

Hi All,
I have just got a letter confirming the 20,000 miles have been awarded.
I applied through the MSE link before the website changed wording to mention the 20K miles, so I hope this may re-assure others in the same situation.
Regards & Thanks,
