Haha! Thanks for your kind words :) Yes, so far I'm 9/11, but have actually made up for both of those so can I technically claim 11/11 so far?

    I think you can!
I'm impressed at how well you've done so far. Maybe I'll have to do something similar next month (although I'll need to get some essentials suck as car MOT and petrol)

    Essentials are permitted :)

Well.. sorry for the lack of posts, but there isn't much to say when you're not spending anything. I've still not spent a penny beyond my direct debits and fuel. I've not even been food shopping! Have managed to keep myself alive on the stuff already in the house so far!

Well, today is the final day of my "No Spend Month". How have I done?

    Technically: 31/31 !

    Actually: 29/31

    1. I spent £23 on Mum's birthday present. (But am getting £25 for opening an ING Account!)
    2. I spent £12 on getting my CallCredit Report. But in doing so 'found' £12.44. (£2 on the street, £10.44 in a forgotten Halifax account).

Net result, for trying not to spend anything in the month, I am £2.44 in credit for what I did spend. This obviously excludes any 'necessities' such as food (just £45 spent), diesel (£115), and paying down debt.

I'm pretty happy with the result. So much so, September is also going to be a No Spend Month!

Fantastic result Lee. I wouldn't have thought it were possible. Then to end up in credit!

You deserve to achieve all your goals, with commitment like that.

Scrooge. (sneaks away to review spending plans for September).
I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

I've followed your inspiring example and have only spent a few times so far this month- groceries and essentials only apart from spending birthday money.
