Fire Fox: Thank you. That was quite a humbling post.
Sorry I haven't replied until now, I've been off on a residential course and just got back. You're right: this journey has had a lasting affect on me, for the better.
Buffy: I'll be sure to share!! I got my first credit card virtually on my 18th birthday, and only managed to pay it off 2 months ago at the age of 26.5. Madness.

Hmm. So. Payday today.
Still not quite sure how I feel, other than very relieved. I now had enough to last the month, put most of the packet into my savings account, and clear my last loan in full.
Job done. What a strange feeling; not owing anyone anything.
I just had a double-whopper meal with bacon AND cheese at Burger King to celebrate
. Best £6.89 ever spent. In cash, of course. :A

:rotfl: Thank you Buffy! You rock ! :A
I think I made it early just by virtue of almost killing myself this year in overtime. In hindsight, I'm not sure I'd do it again! But, as I sit here thinking about it, it was worth every bleary-eyed minute of it.

Well done Lee, that's fantastic news!!
You've done a brilliant job clearing those debts, can't wait to see that net worth graph creep up into the positives.

Just for you Katy

First time it's done that in 8 years. Scary scary how debt takes over your life if you're not watching. :eek:Starting Debt: ~£20,000 01/01/2009. DFD: 20/11/2009 :j
