Any way of discount for a NEW NTL customer?

Hi all,
I'm after the cheapest way to combine phone and broadband for my new house which I move into on Friday. I like the look of the £25 phone and broadband bundle, although I admit I am tempted to buy VoIP kit and just have a broadband line.
I was wondering after reading on here about how ppl barter with NTL, whether this is possible to do as a brand new customer please?
If so could ppl post their success stories here?
thanks.

IMO the only incentive for me I guess, is being paid some money for taking these offers up via Quidco. Sign up through Quidco and you get £27.50
Some of the success stories you hear and see about on here are for existing customers who have finished their minimum contract term and are in a position to leave so they can negotiate some offers. For example from another forum:Details for NTL:
Free set up - no fee
Unlimited Download Limit per month
2MB Broadband (garanteed)
12 Month Contract
Telephone line
Talk unlimited 24 call plan
£20.99 a month0 -
cool - thanks for that.0

If you get an existing NTL customer to recommend you they will get a £30 credit and you will get a tenner.
Do you know anyone with NTL? I am (hint)0
