    Forget the bad news!!!

    Good news!!!!!

Found the fix.....and as Nero is a very popular program I shall share my secrets ;)

Looks like I found the problem on CDFreaks forum!

A 'select' few are blessed with this problem when mixing certain hardware...

This is taken from CdFreaks forum

There is only one fix and it has nothing to do with drive firmware, motherboard drivers, media type etc.

    The problem is 3 files, 'mp3PRO.dll' 'mp3PRO_dmo.dll'
    'mp3PRO_hlp.dll' which you'll find in:

    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\AudioPlugins\

The version that comes with Nero 7 for whatever reason, its faulty.

Overwrite (backup first just in case you need to revert back for whatever reason) the one already in there.

Guaranteed this will solve all your problems with audio CD's skipping. Its a temporary fix hopefully, till Nero can sort it properly.

If anyone else has this problem I have the .dll's needed here

    mp3pro.dll.pack.zip

I knew something was completely wrong......Nero know about this problem but havn't done anything about it yet...

    Cheers people! :j

Glad you found the fix here on MSE! :D

Happy non-skipping burning. Ner 7.2.0.3 seems to be fixed too.
