When McVities see the increase in their sales due to this comp, bearing in mind most of us stocked up before the t&c changes, I dont think they will be saying never again. In fact, they may learn that they need some airtight, concrete t&cs in future comps.
Compers wont complain about strict rules, just as long as we have some !!! We are all able to follow t&cs that are plain english, in black and white, and dont change halfway through !! A lot of comps are harsh - one entry, one time, one name per household etc... - its not a problem for compers to abide by this, as long as we know !VR repayment £404 £156.02 PAID

:T:T And that is EXACTLY what the ASA/ISP is there to oversee - that T&Cs are clear and fair to all. The people running the promotions are paid more than enought to ensure that all clauses are watertight. If they choose to make a half a**ed job of it, they only have themselves to blame.
