I have just seen the ***SHOCKING*** advert for the first time can't believe how bad the advert is, well it says it all doesn't it that mcvities are RUBBISH.
They are obviously doing it so that a handful of people can't win loads and loads while other people only manage to win a small mount.Winnings : Mars football x3, Rugby Ball, Cricket Ball x2, Vodkat kit, £10 Tesco Card, Barcardi Mojito Hamper0 -

I'll be on to Edwin Mutton tomorrow morning. This is ridiculous.
They are not stupid - they KNOW comping forums exist, they KNOW what happens.
To change the rules halfway through, they surely must be legally obliged ot draw attention to it.
It also discriminates against anybody who lives alone.
Nothing to say that hasn't been said but I am FURIOUS :mad:Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -
Well, I haven't thanked him for intervening in the Play.com fiasco -so I will say "thank you Mr Mutton for giving Play.com an earbashing - your next mission, should you choose to accept it is................................" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
How long before we find out what money we are actually going to get???? I've already mentally spent it! :eek:Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -

I might send them a picture of my kids (and bump) holding a poster of the Wii and Nintendo DS I was going to buy for Xmas. Then another picture of them crying, with Hobnob and Penguin Wafer gift baskets which is all I can afford this Xmas now

I've just noticed an additional T & C at the bottom too.
35. Consumers who try to claim a prize by sending in a promotional pack that displays a different barcode and time code to those on the winning pack will not be permitted to claim their prize.
I guess that one was assumed anyway.0 -
I may wish I kept my gob shut :silenced: but can I make a suggestion?
None of us know what the terms and conditions mean or how it will affect us as of yet. My own opinion would be to ring mcvities tomorrow and ask what the added terms and conditions means to us first in terms of a) being paid and b) how it will alter entering in the future.
I'm a little concerned that if we jump the gun then mcvities could pull the comp altogether and it may not have affected or changed anything in the first place, we could end up shutting the stable door before the horse even bolted.
I also really believe that if this comp ends up being a real nightmare, mcvities will never do anything like it again and other companies will consider it as too much hassle. can you imagine answering to allegations if all the terms and conditions were reiterating that only one person per household could win on the same day. I be mighty fed up if it was me.
I'm not saying put up and shut up but I really think mcvities should have the benefit of the doubt and first port of call before taking further steps.
Anyway it's just my suggestion. I didn't want we should shoot ourselves in the foot if there was no need to. 0 -

Although I made the same point earlier, I don't think it does discriminate against people living alone because if there were two people living together one would assume they would both enter, but that would still only be one entry per person. That's why I left it out of my suggestions of points to make when complaining to the ISP.0
