Seriously, how hard is it to just stick to the basic, agreed guidelines?
This entire thread only works if there is a solid basis of trust established. Once that is broken, the whole thing will fall apart as everybody begins to distrust each other.
here here. :T
Winjackie: There were also enough people on line at that time last night offering their codes. (I know because I was laughing at everyone getting full mailboxes of codes whilst mine was empty and I was twiddling my thumbs)... that said I and several others were online offering codes so you could have asked as I did. Everyone would have sent you codes willingly.comps total: Jan 2010 £6000:j

It does amaze me how on most of the threads people feel the need to bully people everyone jumps on the band wagon to judge and critisize.
I am the person that passed scruples code on to winjackie funnily enough she was pleased this morning when she pmed me! saying she was quite happy and wasnt greedy! she also failed to say that I had another win with her codes. The 50/50 as you all say is when you enter in otherhalfs emails etc or in ur 2nd email. If we were all playing fair its probably against the rules to pass codes. Funny how scruples has been sending Jackie pms today sayin quick I only got 19 mins to get to the postoffice to send u the wrapper... then comes on here to slate her. Does she want the wrappers back to see if someone else can win her more ??? I suspect not.:rolleyes:0 -
Madmonster I completely agree to your set of guidelines and I wonder if this could be either added in to the first post or regularly repeated throught the thread (in case people don't choose to read through every single page - cos I haven't
)
AND - can we convince Martin NOT to put it in the weekly email? Because all our Magnum winnings dropped significantly when he put that one in! :rotfl:Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -
I think we should drop the matter. All three people concerned are happy with the result, let's not muddy the waters for them.
At least everyone now knows that we have to have clearly understood rules.
I'm sure there will be more jokes but I think they are just a lighthearted comment on the situation and should just be left as such.0 -
slight case of the green eyed monsters I suspect0

I totally agree! i think that everyone on here is so kind and thoughtful sharing codes etc but some people might deliberatly try to scam people and others simply make a genuine mistake and miscommunication. Madmonster i think your rules are great guidelines and hopefully these will help to stop mistakes being made.
Thankyou everyone for being so generous sharing codes etc, i always try to pm the people whove passed on codes to me as soon as ive finished with them, if i havent been able to enter them i let them know as soon as i can. Thats how i would want people to treat me so thats how i treat them, think its just simply a matter of being considerate but everyone on here ive spoke to have been lovely!Winnings : Mars football x3, Rugby Ball, Cricket Ball x2, Vodkat kit, £10 Tesco Card, Barcardi Mojito Hamper0 -
Let's be honest my friend could have told her we had won £50, we were totally honest and upfront.
You are SUPPOSED to be honest! It isn't multiple bloody choice! You don't get a round of applause for NOT deceiving a fellow forum member! You have just proved EXACTLY the point I was trying to make about this thread being built on a delicate balance of trust. Well done :T
And Primrosey, nobody is bullying anyone. Why does everybody feel the need to throw the "B" word in these days?
God, ever since that damned Big Brother thing it seems like the first thing to do when somebody points out your failings is to accuse them of bullying
Just be adult about it -hold your hands up and accept that you did not have the right to pass on somebody else's codes without their permission and let's all just get on with the competition.Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -
quite frankly after all the messages that she has sent Jackie ( who I might add can do with out.... scruples will know what I am reffering to) I'm regretting telling her it was the £1000 and could have quite easily told her fifty quid and she would have still sprinted the the postoffice!!0
