Well, regardless of what others will say, I still think the 3 way thing was blumming cheeky ! Sounds like you are a bit touchy about it.
Its between you and Scruples, and you're both happy about it so dont worry.
It was just a giggle, nothing maliciousVR repayment £404 £156.02 PAID

A JAFFA CAKE IS A CAKE NOT A BISCUIT. FACT0 -
Okay I've sussed out the Rich Tea twin pack problem.
Both inside packets have same bar code & time code, outer packet has just date & barcode, date is obviously the same as inside.
So input what it said on inside wrapper till it said I'd had enough goes then used barcode from outer & time code from inner.
Still no wins

I'm not sure Winjackie you'll ever stop people having an opinion/expressing an opinion/having a giggle/making references etc..
No one is trying to have an argument.
This thread is long enough for people new to this comp having to read through as it is without additional posts about disagreements.
I for one have a totally different opinion to you, but I cant be bothered to express it.
Too much money at stake, too many codes to swop, too many biscuits to eat
Good luck everyone for tonight.VR repayment £404 £156.02 PAID

as Scruples was offline last night, my friend saw no wrong in letting me try some of the codes.
Well a) it is rude - plain and simple.
and b) it is setting a dangerous precedent for other people to decide to pass codes aroung willy-nilly so we will end up with people trying to split £50 a dozen ways.
Seriously, how hard is it to just stick to the basic, agreed guidelines?
This entire thread only works if there is a solid basis of trust established. Once that is broken, the whole thing will fall apart as everybody begins to distrust each other.Living with Lupus is like juggling with butterflies0 -
I think we all ought to agree on a code of conduct for this swopping. Last night someone borrowed my codes and sent me a pm saying cheers, what a lot of codes you've given me to pass on... Frightened the hell out of me and I quickly pm'd them to ask them not to pass them on to anyone else, but to let me know when they were finished with. They seemed to be of the opinion that we "swopped" codes and that I kept their three they kept my twenty.
I too pass codes on for another MSEr but clearly state on every pm that the codes in bold belong to ***** and that she is another forum member, so that should that code win they know they are using HER codes not mine. This way there can be no temptation on my part - not that there would be she's my best mate - but no temptation can be accused, and anyone lucky enough to win using those codes knows that they will be sharing with her not me. I wouldn't dream of asking for anything for passing on the code from either her or the person that won. I can say this with all honestly as the minute one of her codes won, I instantly rang her and pm'd the other sharer to deal with her on a 50/50 basis.
So can we all agree:
1. CODES ARE SENT TO ONE PERSON AND USED BY THAT PERSON ON A 50/50 BASIS, UNLESS YOU AGREE SPECIFICALLY IN ADVANCE OTHERWISE.
2. CODES BELONG TO THE PERSON WHO PM'D YOU WITH THEM AND ARE RETURNED NOT PASSED ALONG TO SOME ONE ELSE.
3. AS SOON AS YOU HAVE FINISHED ENTERING CODES YOU WILL LET THE PERSON WHO SENT THEM TO YOU KNOW THAT THEY ARE FREE TO BE PASSED ON AGAIN.
4. WINNING EMAILS AS A MATTER OF CURTESY SHOULD BE FORWARDED TO THE PERSON YOU ARE SHARING WITH.
If all this is pre-agreed and regularly promoted then we should be covered. Otherwise our PMs are going to start looking and sounding like legal documents.
Just a thought and not wanting to stir anything up again, but this is the first chance I've had to discuss the first para of this post and it tied in nicely with the other issue of the day.comps total: Jan 2010 £6000:j
