I've just had notification from my bank that my McVities cheque has bounced ...before I ring McVities has anyone else had this happen ?

I think that happened to someone else on here. From what i remember, they contacted McV's, and were told that another cheque would be on it's way.

I know 2 that have had that letter, both are STILL waiting aswell.

On a brighter note I am now all paid up and just waiting on payment from MellyMel who I think has not got the cheque from McVities yet.

I had the same email and mailed them again this morning asking if they had sent the cheques out yet. This is what they replied (very quickly!) :

"The cheques have been produced and despatched in the last few days. If you have not received it yet, you should have it by the end of the week at the latest."

Apparently they will ring me back - this didn't happen for the half dozen times I chased a win from August. For that one I finally had an email last Monday but no cheque yet.

I get the impression that the handling house isn't handling it very well and McVities are getting all the compliants going back and forth.
