It didn't really cross my mind. I just thought I'd write out cheques when the McVities cheques cleared. Does it cost anything to use Paypal? I only ever use it for EBay

I sent as a gift on paypal and it did charge, everyone else seems to not have paid a charge which is strange, it said something about it being because the debit card wasnt linked to the paypal account but it is, so im not sure why it charged us

Wow - reading this thread I'm left gobsmacked

The marketing team at McVities need lining up against a wall ... :wall:
The ill-will they are generating really takes some doing but they are seemingly managing it with this !!!!-up:p

Rule changes mid term are bad enough but the issue with the biscuit wrappers really requires some investigation by the ISP. Its seems unreasonable that you need to make a claim with a biscuit wrapper but that they are unwilling to tell you what that wrapper is. I'm sure if Laura contacted Mr Mutton at the ISP there would be some sort of positive outcome.

I'm hoping we will get a better response over the phone, its easier to fob someone off over email.

I'm just confused as I know I sent the right wrapper in so will be interested to see which wrapper they think I need..

I'm not even bothered about my money now just want to get the money out to people I won with so I can chill out & forget about it!
Thanks to everyone that posts :T:money:

Laura - I sent you a pm yesterday, which I hope helps..let us know how you get on. Have also just sent you another - please read as soon as you get a chance..

Is your husband going to call? I'm sure he will but remind him to remember to keep calm about it. Sending an e-mail may help as well, because you get a chance to think about what you put, and most companies have a policy about replying in so many days etc. Whenever I've rang (the helpline number), it is just representatives that have then had to go away and ring other people, and they can't give you the direct number. That said, I did speak to one helpful representative, who had to go and make other calls, but I did get a call back straight away, updating me on what they had said.

Please take care of yourself and bump and try not to worry x

My OH just called & was just told the same thing, that they don't have that information to give us :(

But if they know I've sent the wrong packs in then they must know what the correct packs are?

Thanks for the PMs pigtails not had chance to read through them yet but will go look now

    Laura xx

OMG Laura, this just gets worse and worse.
    Hope you get it sorted.
It makes you wonder if they have so many wrappers there that THEY are getting them mixed up.
I fear you won't be the only one to get that email. :(
