hi
ive read all the posts about increases to orange mobile phone contracts as a get out clause for being able to cancel the contract....i assume this would also cover mobile broadband dongles aswell...can anyone shed any light as id really like to cancel mine if possible as ive now become a student and could do without paying the 30 odd pounds a month!
thank you

No it doesn't have anything to do with mobile broadband as they are not increasing the minimum charge for this.

my reason of thought was that the sim card can also be used in a phone to make calls thus meaning it is therefore applicable because if you were to use the sim to make calls then youd be charged the new rates meaning the terms and conditions have been significantly changed

You generally can't because the sim is usually provisioned differently in the sense that it can't make calls
