Why does everyone else's essays sound more interesting then mine???

“While governments continue to espouse the Westminster model to legitimise their actions, they may yet reap – in the inversion of the precepts of that model – the whirlwind of a self-generated and self-perpetuating ‘legitimation crisis’. In these circumstances, governments may yet be confronted by their own actions, with the necessity of rebalancing the ‘parliamentary’ and the ‘democratic’ in the conceptualisation of ‘parliamentary democracy’ in the UK.”

if you follow the APA (american psychological association) guidelines, which is author-date like harvard, they have a website with lots of examples:

    http://www.apastyle.org/elecsource.html

i also found this site which has a useful summary of how to do most other types of references: http://www.bournemouth.ac.uk/academic_services/documents/Library/Citing_References.pdf

We use harvard as well and this is how I reference:
Anon. (1998) The Data protection act https://www.opsi.gov.uk accessed 14/10/05
Author (Date) Title (e.g.section of website) URL Date accessed.

Don't put in the whole URL for the page - just the home page.
