Wow your lecturer likes to go overboard on the command words huh? hermeneutic means explanatory and/or interpretive, so he/she is asking you to critically explain and analyse a website.0 -

Hermeneutics is a philosophical technique concerned with the interpretation and understanding of texts. It may be described as the theory of the interpretation and understanding of a text on the basis of the text itself. An interpretive agent is sometimes referred to as a hermeneut.
The concept of "text" has recently been extended beyond written documents to include, for example, speech, performances, works of art, and even events. Thus, one might speak of and interpret a "social text".

hmm... let's turn this into what wierd/obscure/indescribable essay subject do you have??
Mine is: "To what extent was the Taiping revolution of 18th Century Imperial China a proto-revolutionary vision"bad hair day...0 -
Urgh - what subjects are you lot doing - Glad I'm doing a business degree here - the worst essay we've had is this one:
1. How have the major developments in management theory during the 20th century affected working practices today? and
2. Identify the motivation techniques which managers can use to motivate their staff within an organisation. How do these techniques relate to process and content motivational theory?Noli nothis permittere te terere
