Hi
Can anyone advise me on PPP with credits cards. Over the years my statements have always said Paymnet Protection Plan ...but within the last few months I have noticed it now says Optional Payment Protection. I cant recall agreeing to any of this........Does anyone have any advise on this ...would appreciate it...
Many Thanks
Jazza

Hi - I believe the same principles apply as loan PPI. You can apply some of the same advice in the mis-selling of PPI section on the home page.
I am also going after various CC PPI claims and have tweaked my letters to reflect my circumstances.0 -

Hi there Jazza
If you feel you have been mis sold the PPI, you can try to reclaim on this, there are many reasons for mis selling, so below is a link of the reclaiming guidelines, also with a mis selling checklist, and template letters, write your own reasons and if anything in the checklist, they have 8 weeks in full to respond and post by recorded delivery.

Keep at them until they resolve your complaint in your favour, if they do not you can always go to the financial ombudsman service (FOS), the final letter you receive should give details of the FOS.
Good luck with this and if you require further help, you can also post up on the PPI reclaiming thread here:

Please also keep us posted, cheers and fingers crossed.;)
