Whats the worst that happens nowadays when the innocent get arrested? No further action. Any miscarriages of justice are down to the courts not the Police 2].

!!!!!!?
Everyone in this country is entitled to free and independant legal advice. These legal advisors protect both the innocent and guilty.
The court without a jury is the Mags Ct but even then the defendant can opt for crown ct and hence there will be a jury.

Only when under arrest or at the court room. The state denies aid to many for preparing their case and also plays serious games with statements and disclosures to the defence. Have you never seen a statement to police and then seen them come back asking for changes? And see them rip up the earlier statement...mrstinchcombe wrote: »!!!!!!?

Yes, if it goes there, the state is determined, but ordinary people cannot always find the resources. The court without a jury is the Mags Ct but even then the defendant can opt for crown ct and hence there will be a jury.
