Vodafone have said on their forums that they're not stocking it in the near future. There are third party companies who will give you a Vodafone contract with this phone though.0

The Vodafone Magic is basically the same phone as the HTC Hero although there are some differences.0

I'm considering the Hero but I don't want it branded by the network. I know O2 don't but if I got one from Orange or Vodafone, will it have their ugly logos on it and do they generally disable some of the functions of the phone?0

Mobiles.co.uk are selling the Hero on Orange and Vodafone contracts, and their site specifically states that the phone they give you will not be a locked one. It is probably a SIM free one, which gives them the biggest flexibility in making new connections, and would not be branded.
If you bought the Hero direct from T-Mobile or Orange it would be branded (in Orange's case, probably crippled too)0 -
