Yes, LIR - agree.
JanCee - I didn't like the kitchen either, but it seems that dark wood is their taste because they like the similar bed.0 -
If I did ever have open plan I'd almost cdertanly go for a dark wood kitchen, to look more ''furniture-y'' than utilitarian. BUT I would never, in a family home, go for open plan. If we ever get a studio flat we'd have a mini kitchenette in a cubboard I think: as it would be used twice a year (DH eats at work)0

Next show on C4 also looks pretty economy relavant: but I'm guessing could induce much bile.0

I like the lime green with the dark wood in the kitchen (just saw a glimpse)0

D'uh, the heavily textured rug in a play group for a child they said could ''trip on a matchstick''...on a wooden floor. with experience of proprioception problems..I think ....ouch.0

Sorry, not read through this as I am watching this on +1 but £70,000 extra to turn a utility into a bedroom and make two bathrooms out of one?
How much money is this man making out of this?
I'd seriously give him a black eye if I got close to him. :mad:Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Beds - I'd choose the one that says I am "fun loving and young at heart" ... the red bed that's just a bunch of mattresses and surround cushions. £2400 though ... so I'd give it a miss.0

Now I love the downstairs layout. When we finally build our house, that is the sort of layout I have in my head. Lovely for entertaining and I won't get lonely in the kitchen.
He won't be doing it though! The entire house will cost less than that.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
