Budget was originally £100k and it is not enough:eek: Am I the only one watching this? Never mind I can just discuss it with myself and then I/we will be in total agreement.
Budget now £177k0 -
Yes, I'm watching it. Doesn't he go back every week with an increased budget?
But I do like it. George Clarke is very amiable (!) and the stylist is very talented. Very enjoyable. Am sorry it's the last one and hope they do more of them (well, perhaps one more series).
Then after this it's the Mentalist ! Thursdays are my favourite evening. Just a shame to be missing Mock the Week

£100,000 now £140000 PLUS Vat! And you know they're going to go with it, because they've got the TV camera there and he's laughing!0

This program seems ok to start but the budget is never enough and the presenter makes a big deal about asking the family for extra money looks like he needs an extra 70k tonight . Maybe he should shop around more ! Actually the more i think about it the more he is getting on my nerves ! think i will go and wash the dishes .This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I'm watching. I'm almost beside myself with the shock of it. Surely there is not just this one layout that would have worked????0

Yes, you're right, getting a bit predicable and formulaic, as they all do. Why don't the programme people realise that they could be a bit different each week.
Grief can you see this - it looks like Kew Gardens.0 -
For that amount of money wouldn't it be easier to move?0

Not too keen on the show kitchen they have bought. Maybe it will look better once it has been fitted.0

as I said last week, I don't get the obcession with open plan for families. For a start, with a child who undergoes a lot of serious medical treatment one might presume, for example, the parents have to have a number of discussions subtly out of earshot of one or both children? Especially when leting of steam with visiting parents in law or similar.0

Much better to be watching Rick Stein on BBC20
