T Mobile Friends & Family discount question

I've got a t mobile solo account with the 50% F&F discount on it, currently getting 600 mins & 200 texts, I was wondering has any one managed to get the unlimited texts option on it. Ive rang the customer services and they advise me I can't have unlimited texts. So has anyone managed to sweet talk them into adding unlimited texts on or know of a way of getting them without losing the 50% discount.
