Just a thought...
If the NRP was at fault for the relationship breakdown, should they pay more? If so, how much?
Let's assume one child.
My answers are 'yes' and 5% - making 20% in total.

What if he NRP wasn't at fault should they get a reduction????
Possibly. How about 12.5% for non-fault NRP and 17.5% for fault NRP?
A non-fault NRP gets a raw deal IMO. Not only do they lose the pleasure of living with their child(ren) through no fault of their own; they also get relieved of 15% of their pay for their ex-wife to spend as she chooses - which may not be on the child(ren).

No and no. This is about supporting the child not deciding who is the good/bad parent.0 -
It's about supporting the Treasury.

So parents can behave badly?? but as long as we support the children with the finances that makes it all good?
I think children wouldnt give a damm about the money as long they have the love of their parents, its only the parents that give a damm about the money.0 -
SO what would be your answer if there was no relationship but just a one night stand?0
